I created this blog as a way to maintain communication amongst our family members and friends. So feel free to use it as frequently as you can. These new methods of communications can allow us to share photos, thoughts and ideas. We can all view and make comments. We can ask questions, plan, send updates to each other... whatever. I must admit I get very busy with my day job and don't take the time it takes to effective run one of these sites. But I'm definitely committed to share. My passion is writing. Wo this will allow me to express myself and practice my writing with you all... so please humor me.
Shortly after I arrived back from Tampa, I left to attend my brother's wedding. Introducing Reggie & Gladys Shelton!
It was a beautiful ceremony. I also was able to hold my great niece for the first time! My mom, Linda also smiles big for the camera.
Also, since the reunion, I have become reacquainted with my sister Kimberly Thompson! I have not seen her since the 1970s. I can not begin to describe to you how intense this connection has been in my life.
Kimberly is on the far left hand corner. I'm taking up far too much space next to her, followed by brother Kevin & sister Monica with my Dad under the afro in the back.
